Why do so many Hispanics worship a communist like Che Guevara?

Why do so many Hispanics worship Che Guevara? Why do they consider a communist someone to look up to? I have a 'commie's aren't cool' T-shirt that I wear in public, with a picture of Che on it with a red circle and line through it around his face. They Hispanic guy at the local convenience store always glares hatefully at me when I wear it. I love it.
