What would be a (some) good arts journal(s)/review(s) to start reading?

The Forties and fifties had Botteghe Osscure. The Sixties had Encounter and the Partisan Review. The Seventies had The New York Review of Books and The Paris Review. All great periodicals, some gone now, some in decline. All expensive. The local Barnes & Noble has zillions of them. Where would be a good place to start, if I wanted to start reading them?
