Would an omnipotent and loving God allow human evil?

It's because God (if he exists) is neither. It would be impossible in this universe. Most Christians would say that it is Adam and Eve's fault that evil is in this world, but they are forgetting that God not only allowed them to eat of the Tree of Good and Evil, He is the one who planted it so close to them.
