I have cut calories from 7000-9000 a day to less than 2000, and trying to cut out soda.?
well because of your high average caloric intake cutting it to 2000 right away is definatly bad for you. most of the weight you lose you will gain back pretty easily. i would suggest cutting out 1000-2000 every 3 days so that your body has time to catch up to your new eating habits that way you will be less suseptable to gaining the weight back. cutting back on the soda is also very good but dont be disapointed if you dont loss a ton of weight from cutting the soda everyone loses it differntly. acording to the website i posted below you need about 5000 calories to maintain your body so i suggest for now until you lose more weight and can cut back more eating around 3500-4500. with your high weight you should drop the pounds pretty fast it should only be a few weeks before you feel the difference. good luck
