Can someone please check my Spanish?

In the 2nd sentence it should be "El libro es sobre Esperanza y su madre quien vivan en Mexico." (Because you're talking about Esperanza and her mother it is third person plural) In the third sentence it should be "La familia de Esperanza es muy rica y tiene mucho dinero." (La familia is a feminine singular word and therefore the verbs and adjectives must be in the same format). In the next sentence it should be "[...] Esperanza y su madre perdieron todo su dinero y su casa" (the plural past tense form of perdir [to lose] is perdieron) Next, "los" needs to be added to "necesitan salir a [los] Estados Unidos". Lastly, "Su abuelita vivio en Mexica y necesit ir a los Estados Unidos pero no pudo porque estuvo enferma" (Since you said that her father died in past tense, the rest should be in past tense as well). Overall it was good, just small grammatical errors that make it easier to understand.
