Can i take both yasmin and xanax at the same time?

I KNOW people are going to tell me to talk to my doctor, and trust me, I WILL, but I was just wondering if anyone could tell me now-If I am taking yasmin, could I also take xanax? Will xanax cause the yasmin to be ineffective/less effective like taking antibiotics with birth control pills? I just want to know if anyone is currently on both and how that's working out.
