Vonage or Magic Jack Can They be Used With a Credit Card Terminal?

I am looking to start a small business and need internet access but not a land line phone. I want to get a broadband card from either Verizon or Sprint. I will take credit/debit cards and need a line for the Card Authorization terminal used to swipe the cards and enter pin numbers. Does anyone definitively know if Magic Jack or Vonage can be used with a credit/debit card terminal for authorizations. I called both of these companies and needless to say I was connected to customer service representatives that know nothing about the product and what it can or can't do.
